The Future

This evening seems almost surreal and when he’s older we’ll tell the Dooz stories about how this one night, he was allowed to watch television and stay up a little later than usual. We’ll tell him how this was the evening when there was finally something to celebrate amidst uncertain times and a constant stream of discouraging news. And we’ll tell him how this was the night that made history while he slept soundly in his crib.
